Drop Faster With Firefox 3
Firefox 3 was officially released last month and has been impressive regarding some changes, fixes, and especially speed. I downloaded Firefox 3 the day it was officially released, June 18th, and have been impressed on the improvement with web page loading times. I’m sure those who have it downloaded will agree with me! You won’t notice it when loading Google or Yahoo, but when it comes to widget-heavy, poor hosted, blogs- you’ll definitely see the difference!
Firefox 3 has decreased my time spent dropping a lot. I get more drops than I did a month ago, but I’m dropping faster than I did a month ago as well! Perfect timing! With Firefox 2, the website I was browsing on would become laggy after opening three or four blogs that I would drop on once they completely loaded. Now, I can open, in tabs, more than 6 blogs and never experience any laggy. With Firefox 3, you get faster loading times, and no lag. Horray!
So, I recommend that you download Firefox 3 to help improve your dropping experience. Especially if you are one of those 300 drops a day people! I can guarantee your drop time will be shorter. I feel like I’m trying to sell you something! Haha.
If you aren’t a Firefox user already, now is a great time to become one! It is the most popular web browser, and not to mention the best as far as speed, safety, customizable, and the list goes on! Normally, I’m a skeptic when it comes to trying something new and popular, like I was with Entrecard! I didn’t join until a few months ago. Firefox was something I surprisingly got into early and and relieved I chose to do it sooner- I can’t stand Internet Explorer now!
There will always be a rivalry between IE and FF, but not a competition.

I agree! I’m blown away with how much faster Firefox 3 is! This is great stuff!
Too bad FF3 is now the biggest enemy to dropping at EC. Gotta love logging out every 5 drops.
@ Guy – I’ve had FF3 for a month now and have not experienced that problem at all except for yesterday. I drop 60+ in one session and I have not had that happen to me. Yesterday, it was acting funny for a bit but then it stopped.
Casey,
Thanks for this post. I’ll definitely update because my old one is really slow.
No problem Linda! You’ll notice the difference.
i really agree with this one. mozilla firefox is way faster and better than internet explorer and hey, it just got faster! nothing better than that
In general, I agree, FF is great.
I do find every so often it just freezes up, regardless of how few tabs/windows open. 3.5 more than 3.0 did.
