Adgitize: Week One Results
I’ve had Adgitize on my blog for a week now and have some pretty interesting results to share with you guys. For those who don’t know, I am doing an experiment with Adgitize, an ad platform for blogs, to see if I can make money with it and get traffic to my blog. I have placed one Adgitize ad in my sidebar, and a grouping of nine ads in my footer in order to have the maximum potential to receive points which will then be converted to cash.
Advertising
On Saturday afternoon I purchased to place my ad in the Adgitize network to run for a full month for just $14. I was really pleased with my results in just half a day and throughout the entire week, I’ve received great numbers.

Points Earned
The first day with Adgitize I earned a measly 169 points. But, this was because I started halfway through the day, and I wasn’t an advertiser. With being an advertiser, I automatically receive at least 100 points. Here’s a table with my points earned for each day. The days that are noticeably lower are days I didn’t post on EntreBlast. It’s difficult to post every single day with new and quality content. I’m not going to just try and pump out a new post every day, even if it’s crappy, just to get some points. I won’t damage the quality of my blog for a few extra cents. Plus, when you get to the table of my earnings, you’ll see that the difference between days I’ve posted and days I didn’t post is not that large.

Money Earned
Here’s the good stuff people. Those points mean nothing if they aren’t converted to cash. Here’s how much I’ve made this week via the points I’ve earned. Unfortunately, the earnings aren’t reported until two days later, so the results for Thursday and Friday aren’t out yet. I’ll include those earnings in next week’s post and then I’ll be able to give an official “Earnings from Week One” tally. My earnings basically depends on the percentage of points I earned that day versus the whole network.

As you can see, I’ve earned around 50 – 70 cents each day since becoming an advertiser. This is a nice plus to being an advertiser. As long as I earn on average 50 cents a day, I’d make $15 in 30 days. That looks to be pretty manageable even after just one week of results.

But you paid $14 for a month so for all of your work you only made $1 profit. Oh well, I joined Adgitize a few days ago. Glad I read your post. I do not think I will be purchasing an ad through them. The gain is too small.
Well that’s averaging 50 cents a day. My average for those 6 days is nearly 49 cents, and that’s with a day of only 3 cents in earning. So I expect my average to by much higher. I’m just saying I’ll earn at least $15. Plus, a profit is a profit. I’ve also received a lot of traffic and new readers because of it. So it may seem to you like just a small monetary profit, but it’s a large profit to me as I gain new readers.
Thanks for posting the numbers. It is a small profit, but it looks like 75% of your points come from doing nothing for Adgitize.
100 Points for being an advertiser: No action after placing the ad once.
100 Points for writing new content: No additional action required since you would likely produce the content regardless of whether or not you used Adgitize
100 Points for page/ad views: No additional action required since you earn points fro traffic you would have gotten anyway.
100 Points for clicking: This seems to be the only part that requires additional work that you wouldn’t otherwise do. Of course since you are likely dropping Entrecards, too, it doesn’t seem like that much more of a burden.
And if it brings traffic, that’s great.

EXACTLY! Plus, I only have to click have the amount of ads available as opposed to clicking all of them because I am an advertiser. It’s really not that much work.
I’ve been astounded with my Adgitize results too. They are really PAYING you to advertise! Even if your profit is $1 only, that is opposed to -paying money- to have your ad up. It is bringing you traffic and eyeballs, are you’re making money off of it! Truly a great service. Plus the management is really nice too.
Well, profit or not from adgitize these visits also lets you earn extra from google adsense so I think it is a good deal. Better than most advertising sites that only give you useless visitors.
How do earn money from Google Adsense with Adgitize?
Well, sometimes you can earn a little bit from pageviews, but by sending traffic to your blog you can increase the number of clicks on Google ads.

That is indeed like getting your money back! I just joined too and on my second day I have a total of $.20 already and I am not an advertiser yet. This is more than what I get from googleads. lol…
