Entrecard Removing Non-TOS-Compliant Sites

Entrecard is starting to do some spring cleaning by deleting accounts with sites that do not comply with the Entrecard Terms of Service. If you’re site is deleted because it violates the TOS, you will receive an e-mail letting you know and a chance to fix the problem.

As a reminder, the rules for Entrecard sites are:

  • English Only
  • No Nudity
  • Minimum of 5 posts
  • Content must be updated in the last three months
  • No full screen ads or popups
  • No illegal file downloads
  • Entrecard widget must be present
  • No duplicate accounts

And you can learn more about the rules by visiting Entrecard’s Terms of Service page. If you’re site is violating a rule, fix it now!

It’s about time Entrecard did some spring cleaning.

Between blogs that have not posted for ten months or more, sites with re-directs or pop-ups, sites that auto launch music, videos or Trojans and a host of other annoyances, the selection of good clean sites that are above the fold is shrinking.

That’s why I started The Dropzone, a good clean list of sites above the fold, checked daily. It’s my defense for the nasties.

Will I’m glad they finally done something, when was the last time they did it?

  • Entrecard died a long time ago. Its been on live support ever since.

Capping your max points and all the rest of it are hallmarks of it.
