Hey! This is our first edition of EntreBlast Site News. Occasionally, I’ll write a post like this to give updates and information on the happenings around the blog! I hate the feeling of being distant from my readers. So, here we go!

Advertising Available on EntreBlast

This is something I’m very excited about. I have finally dropped Project Wonderful from my blog. Making 30 cents a month won’t get me anywhere! I probably will look to further monetizing my blog later on. The last thing I want to do is scare people away with a bunch of ads everywhere!

Summer Credit Splash Update

We have hit the 15,000 EC mark for the pot total! This came way faster than expected, but nonetheless I’m happy. One 5,000 EC donation has been received, and several 1,000 EC donations have been sent our way. Thanks guys! I decided to include the pot total count on the sidebar, and will update regularly.

Oh, and it’s definitely not to late to donate! I’ll be setting a goal to hit and the contest will start once that goal is reached. I want this to be big! If you donate you’ll be rewarded with links back!

New Feed Image

Something very minor but I’ve replaced the poor quality EntreBlast feed image with something a bit nicer. I finally have a better image-editing software and the first thing was to toss that old feed image.

My last post talked about some difficulties I was having and am glad to say they have been dissolved. One problem that I had was that the virus prevented me from doing my daily dropping. I’m really sorry to those that have dropped this past week and haven’t received one back.

But, I’m getting back into my daily routine and that consists of dropping so continue dropping and I will be returning them! Plus, this also means EntreBlast is going to get back into it’s groove and to get back into the groove, one has to be set! Stay tuned for the major announcement to come this week. Weekly contests, polls, reviews, and more are coming your way!

This week has been really quiet here at EntreBlast and I’m sure you’re probably wondering where I’ve gone! Well, I haven’t left! I’ve been experiencing some major computer problems that have prevented me from almost using my computer entirely! I can’t access many sites (including Google and Yahoo) and the sites that do load, take forever! So, it’s been hard to work. Don’t worry, I’ve been super busy working on my computer and you can expect normal posting to continue next week.

Additionally, on a more interesting note, I’m working on putting my ideas for Entreblast on paper. I’ve got ideas for running regular contests, giveaways, reviews, and more for Entrecard members so be on the look out for that!

While dropping amongst fellow Entrecarders, I stumbled across a blogger that creates nice free wordpress themes called Ready Wordpress Themes. I love browsing through wordpress themes, always tempted to implement one on one of my blogs as the next one usually looks cooler than the next!

Anyways, so scrolling down I saw a theme that immediately caught my eye, called ‘Drop Down Theme’. I think it really should be called the Entrecard theme! The colors and style is pretty similar to Entrecard’s look and I thought it would be PERFECT for EntreBlast.

So, without further a due, introducing EntreBlast version 2.0. Our logo needs to be fixed around so the header is just temporary. Once the new header is up, it should look sweet!

EntreBlast is now officially IN the blogosphere! We’ve held back just to make sure everything is 100% ready, and it is! We’ve decided to officially entre the blogosphere through none other than beloved EntreCard. We were really antsy to sign up last week, but we just didn’t think it was the right time.
